These were cute a first. Then I had to make 300 of them.....and they weren't so cute anymore. I can't take all the credit. My mom worked overtime to help me get these finished. I guess she is going to start expecting a paycheck...OH NO!

Boy Baby (and twins!)

It's baby shower time again (I've yet to figure out why ALL baby showers are in the spring). I love the cookies and the colors.

I'm starting to sell cookies by the tray. The tray below is a small tray (approximately 12 cookies) and is $20. Some cookie trays will vary in price depending on the size and detail of the cookies.

The next cookies were baby shower favors. The mom-to-be is having twins. 

Most people wonder why cookie orders take so long (and why I need so much advanced notice). After I make the dough, refrigerate the dough, roll out the dough and cut into shapes, freeze the shapes, bake the shapes........THEN I start decorating. The decorating is at least a 2 day process! 

Hope that explains why cookies are a process :)

More people turned 30 this weekend...

No time for St. Patricks Day...

My biggest order so far...70 dozen mini's! I've been doing cupcakes for over a year, and I still didn't know how to plan for this. I ran out of EVERY ingredient at one point. Regardless, I felt like a "real" baker. My mom and I had a serious assembly line constructed, and by the end, we were really moving fast!

Monogrammed Cookies and Cupcake Picks

These were for a wedding shower...I LOVE how the cupcake picks and cookies coordinate. [As a side note, these cupcakes were chocolate with peanut butter/cream cheese filling, and topped with peanut butter frosting.........they are incredible! I don't even eat cupcakes anymore (unless I'm taste testing)....and I gained weight this week eating the peanut butter frosting with a spoon!]

Baseball and New Boxes!

It's sad how excited I get over new boxes. I FINALLY ordered boxes that hold 2 dozen cupcakes. This baseball order was PERFECT for the new boxes!
