"The Bachelor" Finale Cupcakes

I didn't get a chance to watch this season of The Bachelor, so when this order was placed I turned strait to google for a quick recap of the season. I tried to incorporate different aspects of the show:

Baby Shower Cookies!

Cookies are my new obsession. Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE cupcakes...but I'm also enjoying learning new skills. For my first official order, I was satisfied with the final products. I made over sixty cookies total. Of course I'm my own worst critic...I see lots of room for improvement...but am still happy with how they turned out.

These particular cookies were used as favors. Cookies are perfect favors for a variety of events!

Pink/Brown Baby Shower and a New Little Cupcake

One of my best friends ordered 7 dozen cupcakes for a friends baby shower this weekend! This was my biggest order to date...AND...she ordered cookies! I'll post about the cookies later...but for now...here are some pics of the cupcakes. I'm so mad at myself because I forgot to take a picture of the cupcakes displayed at the shower :(

 This same friend has a new little cupcake herself. How cute is she!? Of course she wore a cupcake outfit when she came over for a visit!

"Fancy Nancy" / "No David" Baby Shower

This baby shower was based on the "Fancy Nancy" and "No David" childrens books. The gender of the baby was unknown. I LOVED the creativity and was thrilled I got to do the cupcakes. The "Fancy Nancy" cupcakes were just basic and girly, lots of pink with pink sprinkles and glitter. The "No David" theme was portrayed through picks. I inlcuded pictures of the books below (in case you are like me and aren't up to date on what kids are reading).

Wedding Showers

I had lots of wedding showers this week.
The first shower wanted cupcakes to match the wedding colors, dark purple and black. (1 dozen standard, 1 dozen mini)

The second shower had colors periwinkle, ivory and black. (4 dozen)

The third shower had purple and green colors. The order was for an assortment of 5 dozen mini's. They were going to be used for centerpieces (a great idea!).

Finally, the last bridal event of the weekend was a bridesmaid lunch. I love the roses with the 'wedding themed' picks!
