These were for an NKU employee turning 65. I LOVE the NKU cookies. Next time I'll do them without the polka dot background. I think it takes away from the letters and the flame.

I LOVE when I get to do whatever I want for an order. I love it even more when the order is for cookies. I picked the cookie shapes, the colors, the fonts of the words, etc. I had so much fun playing with my KopyKake projector. I also tried a new cookie recipe. Typically I make a standard shortbread sugar cookie. I added some cocoa to make it chocolate. The results were great!

Animals

I can't stop playing with my KopyKake projector! These were inspired by a pack of stickers. I plan to do more when I have time (horse, lamb, dog, cat, etc.)

My New Toy (and Valentines cookies)

Yes...that's Hello Kitty...on a cookie...and I MADE IT!!!! 

I hate to tell my secrets...but I have to give credit where credit it due. Meet my new KopyKake Projector.

It is essentially a light projector that projects images on cookies, cakes, etc. I can put any image in the projector, and then trace that image on the cookie. TECHNICALLY, I'm still doing all the work...just with some help. Most people ask if the KopyKake decorates the cookie. That makes me laugh. I still have to do all the work :)

This is the most I've enjoyed decorating cupcakes/cookies in a LONG TIME. I get to do something new, something creative...which makes updating my blog MUCH more fun. Most of my orders are repeat/copies from other orders...so I don't upload most of my pictures.

In honor of Valentines Day....this is how I spent my week (besides me real job, of course). I'm hoping to get Valentine cookie orders so I can work more with my KopyKake projector.

More people turned 30 this weekend...

New House

One of my good friends just bought a house. Cookies seemed to be the perfect housewarming gift.

Lately I've really been working on my cookie decorating skills. The picture below shows my progress from house cookies I made a few years ago.

Maybe I'm too critical...but the first picture looks so bad. I guess that's the point of practice.
